Countering ISIS Radicalisation activities through the Cyberspace in the region of SЕЕ CIRACRESEE” NATO ATC, C3I partner organization (03-07 April 2017)
The need for acquiring improved knowledge to successfully counter the cyberspace activities of ISIS radicalisation in the region of South-Eastern Europe led to the Advanced Training Course titled “Countering ISIS radicalization activities through the Cyberspace in the region of South-East Europe – CIRACRESEE” in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. The CIRACRESEE course succeeded to provide participants from the SEE region with global trends regarding ISIS’ use of cyber and technology. In addition, in-depth analysis on how these efforts are intrinsic to the SEE region were conducted. It also served to facilitate the importance of regional cooperation among the participants from NATO and Partner countries in SEE, which is an essential component in building resilience to terrorists’ use of a cyber and technology.
The ATC was organized within NATO SPS program, by the Institute of ICT, Joint Training Simulation and Analysis Center, Bulgarian academy of Science, Bulgaria and the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” Skopje, University of Goce Delcev, Stip, Macedonia. Our organization, Cyber Security, Corporate Security and Crisis Management Initiative – C3I Macedonia, was one of the partnering institutions, contributing in the whole process of organizing and maintaining the high quality event.
