Successful accomplishment of training: Recognition and verification of misinformation Cybersecurity – social engineering
On 18th February 2021, from 6.00 PM to 7.40 PM, C3I organized a training/discussion on the following topics:
- Recognition and verification of misinformation
- Cybersecurity – social engineering
The training is part of the activities supported by the Metamorphosis Foundation and TechSoup.
The activity took place on the ZOOM platform, and the attendance was constantly from 95 to 100 listeners, which was the maximum of the platform itself.
The first training was realized by prof. Dr. Metodi Hadzi Janev, who is an international expert specializing in legal and strategic aspects (policy-making) to deal with asymmetric, cyber, and hybrid threats.
The second training was realized by prof. Dr. Mitko Bogdanoski, who is an international expert on cybersecurity, computer networks, dealing with online radicalization, and the use of cyberspace by terrorists.
After the training, a fruitful discussion developed, in which a lot of constructive questions were asked and the lecturers got praise for their lessons.
The training resulted in the following video which is available on the C3I’s YouTube channel. Subtitles will be added in Albanian and in English during the next few days.
Additionally, 6 articles related to the topics of the training will be published and they will be posted on our site and FB page in the first half of March.
At the end of the training, participants were asked to take part in completing a short survey. The survey was completed by 66 participants in the training. The following are some of the important conclusions from the survey:

- A wonderful event. Thanks to everyone on this training, I gained additional information from an area that I was not good at before, I can even say that I was not informed at all. I hope that there will be many more events on such topics because, frankly, in this time in which we live such information and experiences from such events are necessary.

- Organizing training/webinars in every public and even private institution. Organizing online lectures for students, because in these times the level of use of IT devices has been increased especially by them.
