TTX workshop for cybersecurity professionals from the CERT/CSIRT

With the support of the U.S. Department of State, CRDF GLOBAL and Cyber Security, Corporate Security and Crisis management Initiative – C3I, partnering with the Military Academy General Mihailo Apostolski-Skopje have launched the Tabletop Exercise – TTX workshop for cybersecurity professionals from the CERT/CSIRT, key cybersecurity-related public and private sectors including the critical infrastructure providers in Albania, Kosovo, and the Republic of North Macedonia.

Prof. Mitko Bogdanoski opened the event by addressing the challenges in “Confronting the contemporary cybersecurity challenges”. He was followed by MA Marjan Stoilkovski tackled “Cyberattack vectors and cybercrime investigation (related with prepared scenario)”. The first session, with cutting-edge introductory lectures culminated with a presentation on the “Strategic and legal aspects of governing responses to cyber based-threats”, presented by prof. Metodi Hadji-Janev.

Tomorrow participants will fight the scenario designed to fit the targeted countries’ dynamics in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and cyber defense challenges.
