Passage4Prevent: use of education to prevent youth online radicalization

C3I in cooperation with CRPM (Center for Research and Policy Making), had started with the implementation of the activities within the frame of the project “Passage4Prevent: use of education to prevent youth online radicalization”.
The project objective is to build digital resilience to online radicalization among youth through the use of education in prevention. The activities will target the municipalities of Aerodrom, Arachinovo, Gazi Baba, Grad Skopje, Chair, Tetovo, Gostivar, Saraj, and Kumanovo, Shtip, and Veles and they are being grouped into the following work packages:
  • Raising awareness at school about the risks on internet and use education to raise resilience against extremist propaganda and recruitment;
  • Building capacity and offer resources and tools for high school students and front-line workers to recognize, detect and report threats of radicalization and violent extremism;
  • Providing policy advice for the municipal early warning system of radicalization.
The activities in which C3I leads are development and maintenance of an online e-learning platform, creating policy, and developing e-security guide for schools, e-learning courses, and methodology and tools for early warning against online radicalization.
The project is financed by Hedayah – International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism and the period of implementation is 12 months (2020-2021).
